Android version - unordered list playing up

Every time I enter a unordered list it breaks my note for that day. I think it is indenting the text on the bullet but then doesn't stop indenting it until all the text disappears. I'm not pressing anything to make this happen.

Let me guess - you are using a Samsung with a Samsung keyboard? This problem has been reported before here. Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce the problem yet, even though I bought a Samsung device specifically for this. In the meantime I would recommend to use another keyboard.
What phone model are you using?

The same issue. I never had it before on my Samsung Note 10+ but I upgraded this week to an S23 Ultra and started seeing the problem. I may try switching keyboards as you suggest.

It definitely messes up with the Samsung Keyboard but I haven't seen it happen with Board or SwiftKey. I prefer the Samsung keyboard, so please try to solve. Thanks. Here's my system info.

I wish I was able to investigate this is more detail, but I just cannot reproduce it - even though my Samsung test device is on Android 13 with OneUI 5.1. Something else has to play a role in this, but I already spent countless hours on this without being able to find the cause. This just really feels like something that Samsung needs to fix. No other keyboard app is causing this problem.

timo ok, thanks for the response. It's not too difficult to swap keyboards and I may play around some with Tasker or another way to automate switching keyboards for specific apps if I dare. I must say that Diaruim is just delightful. What a great app. I continue to use it consistently. Great work!

The problem is not all Samsung phones. I would suggest using Microsoft SwiftKey as i have not had a problem with this keyboard. The reason Timo has not be able to find the cause is cause it only effects certain models of Samsung. When responding to errors on android version it would be helpful for Timo if you could mention your model of phone like Samsung S22 etc and what OS you are using and security update from your phone provider. Also mention font and size of font used and whether landscape or portrait.
