Broken sync on Mac after upgrade to 13.2.1

OS + version: MacOS 13.2.1

Is it possible, that iCloud sync stopped working after upgrade to 13.2.1?

The sync worked properly. Yesterday I upgraded OS which could be related.

Now, when I try to sync the private window popup appear (Safari?), asking me for authentication. After authentication by fingerprint this error message is displayed:

Authentication Error
This action could not be completed. Please close the window and try again.

Is there anything what I can do to get sync working again or add some addition details?

I tried to authenticate in a little bit different way:

choose different AppleID
fill the same AppleID
2FA dialog appeared
I confirmed obtained code so I was successfully authenticated

Can you please show screenshots of the "window popup" you are referring to?
Also, can you please click that button?

Normally, iCloud should not prompt any credentials or login on macOS. Are you sure you have iCloud enabled on your Mac?

Yes, I'm pretty sure iCloud is enabled. It's still failing so it wasn't an intermittent unavailability.

Sync from iPhone is working properly.

After disabling "Advanced Data Protection" in iCloud sync started to work properly.

I went through the process of enabling "Advanced Data Protection" (this even required me to remove two of my devices from my Apple account) and the iCloud Sync is still working for me...

You're right.

The sync started work after disabling of ADP. But, it's still working after enablement of it. Well, the issue is solved, thank you for your help. It looks like iCloud sync has some issues.
