I was imported my diary backup from Day one app last few years. Recently, I use the search function to find my journal. There is no result for the year which is imported from Day one backup. The result only for the journal which is written in Diarium app. I also tried to open the imported journal one by one in Diarium app. Then do the search again, there’s still no result.. Finally I found that, the bug is appeared for Chinese keyword search.

Diarium version: 2.9.43
OS + version: 16.2

I don't completely understand the question/problem. Can you maybe post a screenshot showcasing the problem?
What is the keyword that you were searching for and didn't return any results?

I tried to search the diary by keyword. The diary which contained the Chinese character is imported from Day One backup. Actually there is a record in Diarium, but no result when I did the searching. (Picture 1).

Where else, when I type English word in search, I got the result which is also imported from Day one backup (picture 2)

Thanks, I will investigate this.
Perhaps it's not found because chinese characters need to be encoded to be saved to the database.

Thanks, Timo. I hope the next update will solve this problem. I really love Diarium App.

I wasn't able to reproduce the problem.
I used the Day One app on iOS, added some Chinese text, created a backup file which I imported in Diarium.
Then I searched for some characters and the entry showed up in the results list
