Won't attach audio file

I have tried to record audio within the app, it disappears. I recorded audio with another app on my phone and can find and play the file. Try to attach it to a journal entry and it doesn't show up. I feel like I have successfully attached audio before but it's not working today. Paid version.

This bug report is missing the Diarium version and OS + version information.
I am also unable to reproduce this. Please send me a test audio file with which I can reproduce this problem

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the same issue whilst using Diarium Version 3.0.86 on Android 13. Short recordings can be attached to a journal entry without any issue, but whenever I attempt to attach a recording that is 2-3 minutes long or more, it disappears.

Ravie With "adding" do you mean to select a file or to record new audio in the app? Does nothing happen at all, or does Diarium show any error message? Can you share a screen recording video showing the problem?

Sorry for the delayed response. I'm referring to when I record new audio in the app and attempt to attach it to my diary entry. There's no error message - the audio file is simply lost. I've tested this on Windows 10, and I do not have this issue, but on mobile (on the OS and app version described above) I do. I'll try and attach a screen recording.

Thanks for the video - I see that there isn't even an error message, which is odd.
Does this issue happen every single time you record audio that is 2+ min long - or only sometimes? And does it happen never when it is shorter than a certain threshold? So can we be sure about that the length of the recording is the problem?
Does the issue also appear when you are not recording the screen and there isn't that "microphone in use" message at the start of the recording?
