Purchased from the Microsoft Store on my Laptop, how do I use it on my phone?

I've spent the last hour Googling how to purchase the app for my phone phone as well so I can use either device and they will sync but I can't figure it out?

I am an android girl, so I got it from the play store. I assume the same for Apple.

@HelenBooth is right. Simply search "Diarium" on the App Store app or click on the download links on the apps homepage: https://diariumapp.com/

So if I get it from Google Play it will sync with the Microsoft version on my laptop?

KarenPettinger You have to enable sync in the app settings on both devices, by linking it to the same iCloud/OneDrive/... account, and then it will sync. Otherwise you'll have two separate diaries

Similar question - I bought in on my Android phone, and I'd like to have access to it on my laptop as well. I've synced it to my Google Drive, but although I can see it on my drive, when I try to open it I'm told that Google doesn't have Diarium as an available app.
Tekky stuff is not my strong suit - what am I doing wrong?
