I often end up writing my journal very late at night, usually a few hours past midnight (3/4am). This means that those entries, however, end up being saved in the following day (as expected). This is not particularly ideal IMHO, because what I wrote doesn't apply and did not actually happen in the day it shows up. A very simple example would be writing eg. about Christmas, but having the pictures and text show up for Dec 26th. And if by any chance I end up writing something else actually on the 26th, then I have two entries for that day, that actually belong to different days.
I think it would be very useful to have an offset for the day starting time, where eg. I can set it to 5am and everything I write before that time shows up in the previous day (obviously chronologically after any previous entry of that day, so not at the top of the list).
I guess this could just be a simple UI change, so not having to alter the database in any way, and still obviously having those entries saved at the exact moment they were written, but being "rendered" in the previous day.
Also, if this ever gets implenented, I think it'd be great if you could also apply it to the media shown in the picker at the bottom of the page, where it suggests pics you took that day to attach to the diary entry.
Thank you!
