Diarium V2.99.35.0
Wndows 11 Pro
22H2 OS:22621.900

Since the update to Diarium this morning copied text will only copy as an attachment and not in the body of the text. Same issue on all three of my computers. Occasionally an error message appears along the bottom of Diarium when attempting to copy but it disappears so quickly it cannot be read.

Text copies normally in all other media, eg, Word, Notepad.

    Gary V2.99.35.0

There is no version "2.99.35". I assume you mean v2.9.35

Gary text will only copy as an attachment

I am unable to reproduce this - at least with "normal" text from the clipboard.
There are some apps (e.g. the OneNote app) that copy text as image to the clipboard and then Diarium uses that image. The last update didn't change that behavior - this has been the case since years.
What app/program did you copy the text from?
What kind of attachment is inserted into the entry instead of the text? An image?
What error message appears at the bottom? Maybe you can try to do a screen recording that can be paused.

I have tried copying text from other sources and the issue only seems to happen when copying from OneNote. It saves the text as a photo attachment but not as text in the diary entry.
Annoyingly, I am no longer getting the error message. I recall the message said something about the "callee not being valid".
What is odd is that I copy text from OneNote a lot and was doing so this morning with no problem before Diarium updated, and the issue is on both my laptops and a PC.

I think this is some weird behavior on OneNote's part. I would recommend pasting the text into some other app first and then copy it from there.
I did do some changes regarding the pasting in the last update, now allowing pasting formatted text. I will not revert to the old pasting behavior only because of the weird OneNote behavior - sorry.

So, weird OneNote behaviour that does not affect any other app and was not an issue until changes were made in Diarium.
I guess I have no choice but to copy and paste to some other app, then from there to Diarium - for now.
