Best secure cloud service to use for sync?

Hi! I'm new to Diarium and it's exactly what I've been looking for! Can't wait to get started with it.

I plan to use both the iOS app on iPhone and the desktop app for Windows 10. I know that I have multiple cloud services to choose for syncing data, but I'm concerned about security. I know that Google can "snoop" into your content, so that's out. But I can't seem to get a clear answer on the others.

What service do you suggest if I'd rather not have the host sniffing through my stuff? It's not that I have anything super exotic or nefarious to hide, just don't love the idea of my data being used for tracking, marketing, etc.

About security: I don't know what each cloud provider does with the data and what access employees have on their customers data. Future app version of Diarium will have stronger encryption, see here. In the meantime you could use your own WebDAV / Nextcloud server that you only have access to.

Generally speaking however, Diarium uses a weak encryption already, and I don't think any cloud provider would bother trying to decrypt it for marketing or tracking purposes.

I personally use the OneDrive sync, it is possible the fastest sync option of the ones in Diarium
