I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate Diarium. I've been using it daily for nearly four years now and I can't emphasise enough how much it enriches my life.
With previous journaling software, I used to just sit down and journal my thoughts for the day in quite a messy way. But since using Diarium โ especially with the addition of multiple entries, I now add multiple entries a day. I'm capturing so many more moments of my life than I used to with other journaling software. And what I wrote before I started using Diarium, I'm sorting into tagged multiple entries. This allows me to go back and see a much clearer picture of the past.
Working in a very busy day job, and with the birth of my first child this year, life seems to fly by faster than ever. Days blur into weeks, and weeks blur into months, and I can't believe we're already in the latter part of 2022. But using Diarium, I get to look back and see that 'time blur' with total clarity. It's often the little moments that would otherwise be forgotten that mean the most.
I've taken regular photos for years and years and used to looked back over them to reminisce. I have a lot of photos from before I journaled regularly. But because Diarium's image handling combined with multiple posts and tags is so effective, I'm gradually working through my old photos and creating posts based on my memories from the photos. I'm slowly creating a 'lifescape' for want of a better word.
The recent addition of the attachments view has made things even better. Digital photos tend to get a bit lost, sitting in folders on a hard drive. It's fantastic being able to scroll through all my photos I've added to Diarium. I can't wait to be able to filter this view by tags, people, and date ranges. With this functionality Diarium will become the ultimate photo album as well.
So yeah, thanks Timo! Your work on Diarium is really appreciated.
