Transfer to new Microsoft Account

I bought Diarium app on Microsoft Store in Jan 2022. I love the app and have been using it regularly. It's awesome!!

I just reinstalled Windows 10 and am using a new Microsoft Account (the other account uses an old email ID that I barely use anymore). When I go to the app page on Microsoft Store, I can't download it without paying for it again.

I did do a CloudSync so I have the backup for all my entries. But I would like to use the app on my new account. Is there any way to transfer my purchase to a new account? Or do I have to buy the app again?

I searched the forums and didn't find any answers for this. I would appreciate any help on this.

The license is bound to your Microsoft account and it is not possible to transfer it to a new Microsoft account.
What you can try (I don't know if it works) is to log in to your old Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store app, then download the app and then log back into your new Microsoft account.
The Cloud Sync only syncs the database data, but no license information

It worked. I was able to log into Store with my old account and download the app!!
