OneDrive Automatic Sync is not working

OneDrive automatic sync is not working for me. Manual sync works fine though.

When I make edits, I get a "!" for the sync status until I manually sync.

I have the same problem on Android and Windows 11.

Diarium version: 2.9.23.0
OS + version: Window 11 (22000.918)

Diarium version: 2.9.20
OS + version: Android 12

"Auto sync" does not mean it automatically sync while the app is open. The auto sync syncs when you close/minimize or open/maximize the app.

I'm not sure the Automatic Sync is working for me or I'm not closing it correctly.

1-On my desktop. I open an entry. Type a test sentence or two. I "close" the app via the X on the right corner.
If I understand correctly, it should be closed and should sync to OneDrive at that point.
2-I open my laptop with Diarium. The lines I typed in step #1 isn't there.

I seem to have to always hit the sync button before I exit the app if I want to make sure it syncs. I have noticed that Diarium does auto-sync when I open the app, just not when I close it.

Am I misunderstanding the behavior or doing something incorrectly? TYVM.

Just to be sure, the "auto sync" option has been enabled on both the PC, right?
Also, after further researching, I have found the auto-save/auto-sync not always to be reliable on Windows 11 as apparently, the app lifecycle has slightly changed in Windows 11 (compared to Windows 10). Are you using Windows 10 or 11?
I will investigate this problem more in the upcoming days.

Both machines have "auto sync" enabled.
Both machines are running Windows 11.
