Google Fit App Step Import

The Google Fit App gives different figures to that imported into the diary. Indeed I have even had the case where they were the same and then a few days later they are not. Not sure where the figure imported into the diary is coming from as nothing on Google Fit App is the same as the figure on the diary.

BillRigby The Google step count is not coming from the Google Fit app directly, but from the Google API.
Is it that the step count in Diarium is smaller than the step count in the app?
My very strong assumption is that Google Fit didn't sync the most recent step count into the web (from where Diarium gets it) when you compare the two numbers.

Sorry, forgot to read this. Problem has gone away as I import data from Samsung Health App
