edit/remove tags

I note that if I remove a tag from an entry it also removes it from my tag list which is not necessarily my intention. It would be nice if we could add tags to the list without also posting the tag to the entry or remove a tag from an entry without it also being deleted from the list of tags as well.

I just create one entry as a master list of all tags. That means a tag won't be deleted because there is always an entry associated with it.

I am curious as to why you would need tags in the list with no entries? As soon as you make the first entry, it shows on the list. If there are no entries, why have it show?
